I LOVE this! When I first heard of Elf on the Shelf, I thought it was a cute idea, but I thought it would've been so much better if it had a Christian-like background so I could tell my future kids that Jesus was always looking over them and could see the good (or bad) things they were doing each day. Then I actually had two babies and recently saw this idea on social media! I was soo happy because I want my boys to grow up knowing what Christmas is and what we're celebrating, not just thinking 'Oh there's the Elf on the Shelf...cool. But I'll still get Christmas presents so......whatever!'
